Lubin & Enoch, P.C. was proud to send three of its law clerks to the 2018 Minority Outreach Program (“MOP”) Networking Conference, held at the AFL-CIO’s headquarters in Washington, D.C. on June 8 and 9. The MOP conference is a program of the AFL-CIO’s Lawyers Coordinating Committee to introduce law students of color to the practice of law in the labor movement and to encourage them to join the union-side bar.
As part of their visit, Clara Acosta (Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law class of 2019), Amy Brown (James E. Rogers College of Law class of 2020), and Fernando Guillen (Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law class of 2020) met AFL-CIO President Rich Trumka, had lunch with union-general counsels, visited with NLRB Board Member Mark Pearce at the NLRB’s office and attended an arbitration workshop.
